Identity Verification

Swaplo uses tiered identity verification (KYC) and anti-money-laundering (AML) checks so peer lending stays safer for everyone. Higher tiers unlock higher monthly top-up and cashout limits. Verification is powered by Didit; we do not store your ID photos on Swaplo servers.

Verification tiers

Choose the tier that matches how much you need to top up and cash out each month. You can start at Tier 0 and upgrade from Wallet when you need more room.

    • Combined top-up + cashout up to $150 per UTC calendar month
  • Tier 1 · Verified

    • Release of deposits previously held for limit reasons (when headroom allows)
  • Tier 2 · Full KYC

    • Maximum deal size aligned with platform loan limits
    • Standard cashout path at higher volumes (subject to review / freeze rules)

Why we verify identity

Identity verification has two jobs: protect accounts and counterparties from abuse, and support AML screening so funds on the marketplace are harder to misuse.

Swaplo is a peer-to-peer marketplace operated by Ozer LLC. We are not a bank. Verification does not turn Swaplo into a licensed lender; it reduces risk while you top up, lend, borrow, and cash out.

How limits work

Limits are measured on a UTC calendar month and combine (1) USD value of credited or held top-ups and (2) gross USD of cashouts that are requested or sent. Rejected cashouts do not count.

A single borrow or lend deal cannot exceed your current tier’s monthly ceiling. Earn / referral credits may land in Available at Tier 0, but cashing them out still counts toward your monthly volume.

If a top-up would push you over the limit, the deposit is held (status held for verification) until you raise your tier or until monthly headroom frees up.

  • Tier 0 — up to $150
  • Tier 1 — up to $750
  • Tier 2 — up to $2000

Before you start

Sign in to Swaplo (Telegram or email). Open Wallet — your current tier, used volume, and remaining limit are shown there.

For Tier 2, have a valid government ID ready and use a device with a working camera. Good lighting and a steady hand speed up review.

  • Accepted document types typically include passport, national ID card, or driver’s license (as supported by Didit for your issuing country)
  • Document should be valid / unexpired, with clear text and all edges visible
  • Selfie / liveness: face centered, no heavy sunglasses or hats covering your face
  • Phone number for Tier 1+ — used for verification security, not marketing spam from Swaplo

How to verify

Upgrade starts from Wallet (or Cashout when you hit a limit). Swaplo opens a Didit hosted session for the next tier. After approval, your tier updates automatically and held deposits may release.

  1. 1. Open Wallet and check your tier

Confirm month usage and remaining headroom. Tap Verify for the next tier when you need higher limits.

  2. 2. Complete the Didit flow

Tier 1 focuses on phone and basic identity. Tier 2 adds official ID capture, selfie / liveness, and AML screening against watchlists.

  3. 3. Wait for the result

Approved sessions raise your tier. Declined or resubmit statuses show in Wallet — you can retry with clearer photos or corrected details.

  4. 4. Retry your action

Return to cashout, top-up credit release, or funding a deal. Limits refresh for the current UTC month.

Document tips (Tier 2)

These tips mirror common identity-verification best practices and reduce automatic declines:

  • Place the ID on a flat surface with even light; avoid glare and shadows
  • Keep the camera parallel so edges stay inside the frame
  • Ensure names and dates are sharp enough to read
  • If a back side is requested, photograph it the same way
  • Use Latin characters or Latin transliteration when the flow asks you to confirm extracted fields

If verification fails

Automatic declines are usually fixable without support:

  • Retake blurry or cropped ID photos
  • Check that the document is not expired
  • Retry liveness in brighter light with your face fully in frame
  • Do not open duplicate Swaplo accounts to bypass limits — that can lead to freezes
  • If your account is frozen for AML review, cashout stays blocked until an operator clears it

Data & privacy

Identity documents and biometrics are processed by Didit under their flow. Swaplo stores verification status, tier, provider session references, and timestamps — not raw ID image files in our database.

See our Privacy Policy for how Ozer LLC handles account data. Contact support@swaplo.co for support questions about a stuck verification.

Ready to raise your limits?

Sign in, open Wallet, and start verification for the next tier. After Didit approval your monthly top-up and cashout room updates automatically.
